The International ADHD Congress 2018, has been
accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with
13 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
TO RECEIVE YOUR CME CERTIFICATE
The CME certificate will be available after the congress, completing an online evaluation and credit claiming procedure. The process will take a few minutes only.
Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. Cf. criteria 9 and 23 of UEMS 2016.20.
American Medical Association (AMA)

- Evaluate and review current data on ADHD from etiological, functional and clinical aspects, as well as different interventions and treatments with regard to their applicability in practice. An emphasis will be put on transition from childhood to adulthood.
- Evaluate current status of evaluation and treatment of ADHD worldwide.
- Summarize new research relating to a wide variety of topics including fMRI of the grey and the white matter, neurobiological and neurocognitive markers, personalized medicine, risks scores for predicting adult ADHD, evaluation and treatment of ADHD in different age groups including preschoolers and older adults, comorbidities, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for ADHD, cultural variations in ADHD worldwide.
Disclosure and Resolution of Personal Conflicts of Interest
In accordance with CME accreditation criteria and standards for commercial support to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor, those in control of the educational content must disclose potential or actual conflicts of interest. Disclosure information is evaluated and conflicts of interest resolved. Disclosure is made to participants prior to the activity. Participants will be asked on the evaluation to assess the objectivity and independence of the event.
