After participating in this educational event, learners should be able to:
• Address individual needs in compliance with their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plan.
• Evaluate and review current data on ADHD from etiological, functional and clinical aspects, as well as different interventions and treatments with regard to their applicability in practice. An emphasis is put on transition from childhood to adulthood.
• Evaluate current status of evaluation and treatment of ADHD worldwide.
• Summarize new research relating to a wide variety of topics including fMRI of the grey and the white matter, neurobiological and neurocognitive markers, personalized medicine, generating and validating a risk score for predicting adult ADHD, treatment of ADHD in different age groups including preschoolers and older adults.
